Teehee... been there, my friend!! ;-)
The best thing you can do is wear 100% cotton underwear (no synthetic materials such as polyester-mix). Don't put any moisturiser on it, as this can encourage in-grown hairs.
You could put a cold compress on it for a while and see if that helps.... but unfortunately, you'll have to wait it out I'm afraid!

use TEND SKIN a few times a day. It will take the rash away and prevent ingrowns. I use it all the time so that when I shave or get waxed I don't run into these problem.
DO NOT pick at the rash, it can get infected quickly.
If you have been in a hot tub or pool or public watering trough of some sort, you may consider going to the doctor if the rash doesn't clear up in a few days. It could be folliculitis which will need a topical antibiotic.

Talcum powder works really well. It soothes the irritness, and allows the underwear material to flow over it rather than catch it. Hope it goes down soon.

You could always get mirkin. Some good moisturiser or savlon should help. But don't as suggested above use aftershave it will sting like hell down there.

Use a mans aftershave. Thats what they use it for and it helps. It may sting a bit since its irritated but it will get well.

Aloe Vera is very soothing. Why don't you wax next time? it does hurt but you kind of get used to it!
