I know that all breakups hurt, but men mostly have to work harder to get a date, whereas women....

The dates get thrown at them, honey, don't worry, it's NOT your fault (even if it is) because men will try to be sneaky & make her feel good so she will let her guard down to give them some.

I guess what I am saying is, women have to turn down lots of guys, while men have to ask well, sometimes a number of women to get what they want it seems.

Do you think that women hurt less due to so many guys being right ready to help her bounce back so quickly? Or do you think men have a harder time?

Or do you think it is nearly equal?

Would love to hear form men AND women & see what your honest views are. Thanks!

It really DEPENDS on a lot of things.....you can't really choose here. It all depends on circumstances and situations....

I would not say that women have tons of men throwing themselves at them. Sadly that's not true in my case. It depends on the person. I mean there could be a relationship between a man and woman and the man falls in love with the woman but she doesn't feel the same. This could also be vica versa. There are some guys out there who would have no problem finding another girl.

I feel a women takes breakups harder. I women doesn't just do causal they put more of their heart into a relationship and don't take things so lightly... Where a man doesn't give as much of himself. They seem to hold back until the know the relationship is truly going to work.

No, I think it is 85% of the time, women feel worse. Why? Well, I'd just state for the record that men are less emotional (in general) than women. Just my point of view. It'll be interesting to see what everyone thinks. Good question.

Wish it was that simple. Its not about gender. Hurt is an emotion cause by emotion. What you put in and how much ones invested emotionally to another that causes the most hurt for that person. If you are not emotionally involved, you feel less than someone who was.

I am a man. A manly man.
And I believe that men and women can
feel the hurt equally
(Except for women, who feel more than men)

I think it takes a man longer to really fall for a girl. But when they do look out.

Think a man hurts more and longer if the relationship was equal with feelings etc

it depends on the type of breakup. if marriage was a possiblity in the future, then it's really tough to say. she's looking for someone to settle down with and have a fmily with, while the guy is looking for the same thing. it's anyone's guess.

Depends who did the breaking up and depends if one person cared more about the person than the other. I've had my heart broken and my friend has broken a lot of hearts. All her guys go crazy after they break up and stalk her.
