French - from the completely practical aspect of being hired. Many of the world's top GM (General Managers) - of hotels -were trained in Switzerland - which has some of the best hospitality training programs. These GMs are now located in Luxury hotels around the world - from NYC to Asia to Africa to Europe. Thus when you go into a job interview situation - makes a big difference.

Also French gives you access to Europe and former french colonies - especially Western Africa, and the Middle East.
