I've never met a mormon I didn't like (all 4 of them). They seem to be entirely decent people with good ethics and morals. So what if they have ideas different from mine. I'm sure my beliefs would give others reason to scoff at me. Oh yeah, thanks to the mormon church for sending all those cute guys to my house :)

How do you define the Trinity?
What is the nature of the relationship between Jesus and Satan?
Is Hell a real place and is it eternal?

The answers to these questions are what make Mormons different from other Christians.

...Mormon... ummm... wasn't that the "cult" that was started by Joseph Smith...? you see when you list all the things that Mormons believe in, well, that's Ok but remember... the devil himself believes in those too... What do you believe in about Joseph Smith...? that should be the premises of your spiritual conviction... and no where in Gods Word do I find "Smith" listed as a Profit... when Jesus died on The Cross, He uttered a final saying... "It is finished"... His work was completed... Joseph Smith, like all the "others" over the centuries cannot add, detract or bring anything to God Word.
Jim Jones, Sum Young-Moon, Mary Baker-Eddy the Jehovah Witnesses...the list of spiritual acrobats goes on and on and will continue until He returns... Trust in the Lord with all your heart...

I think Joseph Smith and Mormonism is a fascinating part of American history. It's quite remarkable that Smith founded a cult that evolved into a mainstream christian religion.

Tracey, if you had any respect for humanity, you'd be ashamed to try to disuade anyone from speaking out against violence. You know as well as I do Jesus own words cursing any who would dare to harm "one of these little ones".

The world can turn on a dime if Muslims came out in force against their sub-human co-religionists and made Islam the religion of peace that they claim it is.

You don't have to do the fighting, just don't pretend to belong to a religion of God's design with one side of your face and defend violence with the other. You may find God on the side of protecting the rest of his children, and you on the opposite side opposing what you KNOW is right.

Tracey I think you and I have been members of two very differnet LDS churches!

The LDS church I was a member of DID have "handshakes" you learn them in your endowment.... remember? They are called "tokens".

The LDS church I was a member of DID believe in a plurality of gods, though we only worshiped one.... remember? eternal progression?

The LDS church I was a member of DID promote ignorant racist doctrines..... remember? Why did the lamanites become dark? Why did we prevent thousands of worthy people from joining the church until 1978?

Brush up on Church history.
