What should I do in this situation?

If you talk to some lady in the Philippines who says that she loves you, wants to marry you, etc etc, & will do her best to be your good wife, even if your not rich,

Would you try to save & meet? Or meet someone local here? Sometimes I think about local, but that can be hard because, local girls sometimes seem greedy, or strip for money, want expensive rings in the thousands of dollars, nice fancy houses, cars, etc.

I am not saying that a good woman would not be worth all this, but I am saying that it seems like some women just take it for granted, seem to like money more than a good guy.

Get angry, even, if they don't have the most expensive things.
It can be hard either way I guess, but wondering what I should do & what you would do?

Get a life, how the hell can you marry someone you dont even know, get off the computer, go OUTSIDE and meet people, face to face, and get to know them, its amazing how well it works.

The first thing that crosses my mind--she wants a ticket out of the Phillippines. Not that that is a bad thing, she might be a really good wife for you, you never know. If you have seen a picture, and she has seen you...and I'm talking HONEST pictures...and you are both still attracted to each other, it might be something to consider. But, she is more than likely looking for financial help to get to where you are. And, you don't really "know" her. If you are seriously considering her, the safest and most intelligent thing to do is to go visit the Phillippines and meet her and her family. It must be a chaparoned event. Keep her and your integrity. You never know who she is. You both need to have some common ground if a marriage is to work. You could bring her over, get married and then she might file for a divorce. I'm not sure about the laws in Australia, but in the US...you become a citizen when you marry...the last time I knew, to go to Australia and become a citizen without marriage, you also had to have formal education under your belt. You have to see what kind of a person she really is...and what kind of a social environment she comes from and if it meshes with yours.

You are picking the wrong type of woman here. Try to meet someone that works and makes less then u do..

I would not rush into things, she may be just saying these things to get to come to aussie or anything. you can't love someone you have never met.
there are women who don't want money and are just happy with the easy things in life, right here in australia, we are rare, but are out there.
My advise don't go spending all your money to meet her.
just see what happens...

very difficult belive/trust people since u have not met/seen..even if u want go ahead..u will be at risky side...so try to help..her by asking what she want..
