Oh the council tax - what a pain in the neck those people can be.
I had a demanding letter from them once and checked it with the people because I had already paid (always on time) and it was a computer error. That threating letter gave me a shock - gits!
Check the letter with the council and see if its an error. If not, then talk to someone there to see if you can work out a better payment system (direct debit) or something so you don't have to worry about paying large lumps at once.
It'd be tempting to give it to your dog but it won't do the dog any favours or yourself. Council always have back up records on file.

It's probably just a Council Tax notification. The demand will come later.

No, no. Feed that one to the cat. Something about the ink just drives them up a tree!! Feed your Federal Tax papers to the dog. Poor pooch probably needs the fiber!! ;-) On second thought, that IRS stuff is probably binding so.......I'm sorry, but you're on your own from there. I'll take my 2 now and thank you and have a nice day!!
:-D................... (p.s. j/k..... i would never seriously suggest harming an animal)

You will be waitng your time by doing so because the council still has your records. Do yourself good and draft a method of payment and start paying off my sweetie.

I would check first, on the type of ink used, and whether it could harm your dog!

Yes, even if you have to pay it eventually, at least it will make you feel better.
