Sounds like what I get 2x a winter. If you are that sick you shouldn't be going anywhere. You do not want to get other people sick. Rule of thumb is if you have a runny nose and or diarhea then you stay home.
Do the usual things. Lots of fluids, rest and medication.
After the illness is gone spray everything that you cant wash with Lysol.

Gastroenteritis, 'gastro', 'a stomach bug' or 'stomach flu' - these are terms used to refer to a bowel infection that causes diarrhoea and sometimes vomiting and fever.
There are a large number of viruses and bacteria that can cause gastro. A 'virus' is the usual culprit, particularly in young children - the most common type is called 'rotavirus'.
The symptoms can start suddenly with vomiting although vomiting may not occur. Bowel motions are watery, frequent and do not contain blood. Other symptoms of gastro include fever, loss of appetite and stomach (tummy) pains.
YOu may also have this coupled with a cold. I alway take a sore throat as a warning to worse symptoms, and usually I can offset that by drinking crap-loads of water.
Just because you aren't vomiting, doesn't mean you don't have it. You need PLENTY of rest, water and sleep.
If you do end up going to school, just take it easy and rest as much as possible, instead of playing during your breaks.
Good luck!
