In India if you buy a chicken biriyani (a north Indian dish) you will get a egg with it. But if you buy a egg biriyani you will not get a chicken. Hence the egg came from chicken.

Well i'm not sure about that, we'd have to ask the chicken who CAME first.. hehe, although we might get a different answer from the egg...
