I don't know where you got the idea that honey has no calories - about the only thing in this world with no calories is water! Both jam and honey would be similar in calories - the only difference is that jam is man-made and honey is natural. But in the end, sugar is sugar, carbs are carbs and calories are calories - the only question is which product is better for you...

Honey definitely has calories. Lots of 'em. It's just a natural sugar, but with some added nutrients due to the bees processing it. Jam and honey would both have similar calorie contents, but the jam likely contains processed sugar (which isn't good for us) whereas the honey is a more unprocessed sugar---or rather, naturally processed by bee saliva. Remember, ALL sugars ultimately come from plants (sugar cane, sugar beets, tree sap...) it's the processing of them that seems to make these simple carbohydrates not-so-good for us.

Real honey is not very high in sugar, because there's fructoza instead of saharoza like in fruits. And i think honey is much more healthier than jam.
p.s.
Real honey is supposed to be produced by bees from flowers nectar...but bee-keepers often cheat feeding bees with a sugar...of cos it's more profitable to them but that would be not "real" honey. When you taste a real honey it burns a little the back side of your toung. Take care:)
