How can you snorkel in the deep sea? Don't you have to have the end of your snorkel above the water in order to breathe? Do you mean SCUBA diving? If so, I choose skydiving due to my insane fear of being deep, deep underwater. Snorkeling is fine with me, though, and I find it quite enjoyable.

Skydiving. Now if you offered reef snorkeling as a choice then take me to the water.

They're both rather expensive, but I have ear problems underwater, so I'll hop a Cessna 185 with a few other idiots, and squat on the floor all cramped up for thirty minutes or so, and then thirty seconds of absolute screaming buzz rocketing back down again, hoping that I've folded that 'chute properly. Then I'll wonder why I did it. Again.

If you have a problem in the water, you drop your weight belt or inflate your B.C. and you float to the surface of the water.
If you have a problem on a skydive, and your chutes won't open, you fall to the surface of the ground, and you die.
I'm voting for the snorkling.

Sky dive. As uncomfortable and embarrasing because it must be, the deep see diving in a gown ought to eaisly be deadly. That plenty textile around the legs and entering into kit could perhaps drown you.
