Well I'm not Muslim, but I believe that plastic is a recent modern invention and the Koran has been around for a lot longer...
So I think your question is out in left field!

I believe you meant to ask something else or in different context otherwise I don't get what you meant to ask. This is the first time somebody say the Qur'an is wrapped in plastic, why should we?. And another thing, you said Arabic Koran (you meant something else?) FYI only one version of Qur'an and it is in Arabic. Other languages are its translation, even that in case of dispute, the original Arabic text is accepted as final reference.

Quran doesnt need to be wrapped in plastic. You can use it though, as you would protect any other book.

i stay in da middle east. we dun get da holy quran wraped up in plastic! plus in my own houz the quran isnt wrpped up in nethin.where does dat happen?
well where it does, it may be coz we hafta touch the quran after an ablution so ppl who sell em wrapped in plastic may fear dat ppl may not always be in ablution. thts da only reason i can think of.

untrue, plastic being a recent invention too. some people will say anything to make Islam look bad, not saying you are, its good to ask questions, how else will someone learn

Theres no such thing! AT ALL.
Donno where u heard it but wat matters is dont believe all u hear!
But we do have to purify (special way of washing your limbs and head etc..) before reading the Quran if not for educational purposes.
