For the love of all things holy!

Are you people SERIOUS???!!!!!!!

You CAN GET PREGNANT WHEN YOUR HAVING YOUR PERIOD!!!!!!

Now I'm sorry for all the capitalisations but Ifeel I must stress this as some people STILL think that you can't get pregnant this way.

It really angers me that people still fuel rumours like this because they're dangerous. How many young girls out there believe this because some people can't be bothered to get their facts right?

So sorry again didn't mean to rant, just on a mission to educate everyone about safe sex

Have fun, play safe!

BIG appologies to those who were indeed correct in saying you can get pregnant, obviously this wasn't meant for you guys.

It's safe in the aspect that it shouldn't harm your health, but definately not safe from pregnancy. That common misconception is still out there, so always be protected, but otherwise, I have never personally heard of any problems. I'm not a doctor, you could always search for more info on a women's health website.

If by saying safe to have unprotected sex whilst menstruating, she means that she won't get pregenant. this is not actually true, as you can get pregnant whilst having unprotected sex whilst you are menstruating or not. I hope u understood you correctly x

No, it does not affect your health in general, but don't ever believe the hype that you cannot fall pregnant will you have your period - YOU CAN! You can also contract an STD just as easily. But as long as you both don't mind, it makes no difference performance-wise...

It's OK to have sex during her period if you can get beyond the discharge of blood. After awhile the smell could become rather over-powering, too.

During menstruation, women's body is very sensitive and ready to affect infections. It is highly recommended to not to do it again.

It's okay to have sex during a period - but she still needs to be thinking about safe sex.

My wife actually likes to do it in the shower when she's on her period. She's always dragging me in there. She says it makes her flow seem lighter and speeds it up overall by about a day.

I am not a doctor, but I think there is no health risk of having intercourse during a period.
However, I imagine that it could be very messy.

It doesn't effect anything health wise. It's just rather messy.
