My chest is constantly very red with little pimple-like bumps. I thought it was acne and went to a dermatologist and she told me what I have is not really acne but some incurable skin condition called k___ ptorosis. Something like that. Anyway, I took antibiotics and applied steriod cream and it's still there! Is there any other way to cure this acne-like skin condition? I also have it on my entire back.

I would recommend getting another opinion. This sounds like it could be allergy related. Pls talk to your primary care physician about getting another opinion from another dermatologist (preferably not one that is in the same office as the one you see) and also consult an allergist to see if this is allergy related.
