Ok, religeon... fun topic it seems. I'm just curious as to what I should call myself because I honestly don't know.
I used to be an atheist but over the last few years I've seemed to think that there must be something... its probably just superstition but coincidences that work out too perfectly, not to mention the perfection of the machine that is Nature. Its just too perfect to be random...
I was raised Christian (Protestant), and I go to church on occasion with my mother just to make her happy... I don't care to discuss religeion as I live in the bible belt and I HATE the self-righteous bible-thumpers so I just stay out of it.
So, I believe in a higher, unknown force that drives the universe... and after that I just don't know. So does that make me an agnostic or just spiritual or what?
I'm just curious as to what I should call myself...

I have experienced a large number of coincidences which
go beyond the rules of statistics. I go to a library. Take a
book out. I casually open a page. The topic for which
I came to search appears exactly on the opened page.
For the first 100 times it happened, I have noted them
in a note book. For the next hundred, I was somewhat
reluctant. And I stopped noting down for the rest of the
hundreds. Such coincidences occured on many other
occations.
It is the begining of a spiritual journey. There is nothing
like one truth for any thing. There is a macrocosm inside
even a small thing like a grain of sand. No scientist knows
every thing about it. The more you know, you will know
that there is more to know ad infinitum.
The Advaita theory states that a soul is piece of
consciousness of the Infinite Soul who is infinite
consciouness. For an enlightend leaner, it is a life
time jouney towards higher knowledge. The more you
know, the more happy you will be.

I'd call you confused... If you are going to Church to please your mom, then you're going for the wrong reason. I pray that you will desire to get into God's word for yourself and find the truth for yourself. Hint: for starters, James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
When you read something that the Bible says, do it!!! Remember also this 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

u should call yourself whatever u like but always keep ur heart and mind open to god
even if u dont have a belief in god its still ok
it sounds like u need to seek out a spiritual path that fits to how u feel.
i would say study about god theres many books out there including the bible.there are even places that even give out free bibles and other religious books
so find ur scriptures they should be considered sacred. pray for understanding and the promptings of the spirit of god then wait....meditate with total peace then read them then close with a prayer
and do this once a day until it becomes a habit. and always pray for your answers to be met.then by inspiration some day u will have the answers to your needs.
i hope some day you do find out who u r. but for now just read ur scriptures and pray.

About the coincidences - you might find it interesting to look into a topic called synchronicity. I've put a link below to a brief summary. Forgive me that it's wikipedia - it was the best I could find on short notice.

Youre a "seeker" my friend.
Searching for the truth. Your spirit knows the truth, because you have experienced the truth.
May the Lord lead you.
