Hi there ...maybe you are a little shy. That is not a bad thing, because you can over come it.Just start out with a simple (Hello!) Then work it to (Hi,how are you doing?) Just keep adding a little more each time. Smile always when you see him.I was shy also at one time.I liked this one guy and begged my best friend to introduce us.I was so excited and nervous. I practiced what I was going to say and do to be ( ever so cool ) I was going to say after my friend made the intro "Hi, I've been looking forward to meeting you." Hold out my hand to shake his. Well the time came and the intro was made and I froze big time. The guy smiled at me and held out his hand and I panicked .I shoved my pocketbook at him and blurted out " You have been looking forward to meeting me!" I was so embarrassed. And for a minute no one said anything. Then everyone laughed and he handed me back my pocketbook and said "Actually I have been looking forward to meeting you.And this is a nice purse but I like shoulder bags better." So just take it slow and work up to it. You will do just fine.

its because you really like him that you get tongue tied, it happens to us all, my advice is to go for it, you dont have to be loud or funny, just ask him for a drink, no matter how daunting it is , how will you ever know if he likes you the worst that can happen is he says no and although you will be embarrassed for a while at least you wont have to always wonder, maybe he feels exactly the same and is too shy to ask you, has he given you the vibe that he likes you? assess it in your mind then just take the plunge, i liked my man from afar and was exactly the same, this went on for 2 years, then i finally asked him out , that was 11 years ago and we are now married with three kids and i have never been happier, just snap him up......before someone else does, good luck i hope you get your man . emma

because he makes you nervous because you like him so much.
Maybe next time you see him be prepared and have a few specific things to talk about so the conversation flows better. then you will be able to work out if the two of you really are compatible.

Find out what his interests are, and study them. This will keep the conversation flowing until you feel comfortable with him. Besides, he will enjoy talking to someone that knows about the things he likes!!

maybe your afraid you might say the wrong thing.
Take a deep breath and go for it. If you take too long someone might come along and do what you think you can't do. Ask him out.
