Depends what species
Chickens = Chicks
Turkeys = Poults
Guinea Fowl = Keets
Ducks = Ducklings
Geese = Goslings
Pigeons = Squabs

Lots of wild bird young are called fledglings

That's where the degoratory term 'chick' comes from when referring to young women, or older women as 'birds'.

A chick, broadly speaking but sometimes they can be called other names as well depending on bred eg ducking-duck, gosling-goose, cygnet-swan, you get the drift.
