I am successfully losing weight (18 pounds since mid- January!) by changing my eating habits, slowly, step-by-step, creating a healthier lifestyle. And though I'm not counting calories (and don't plan too!!), I would like to get an idea of my current calorie intake. I'm thinking that if I could find a service that would periodically accept a record of my food intake (maybe for a solid week each month or something), and evaluate it both for calorie intake and nutritional value, it would help. But, does such a service exist? (And, of course, if a service is also out there that will help me evaluate the level and amount of my work-outs that would be cool, too!!!)

Try www.fitday.com

It's the best web site for evaluating your calorie intake, nutrition that you get from food, it even counts calories burned during your daily activities.

You have to register and then, it'll all be cool.

I use www.FoodsDatabase.com to track my nutrition.

The site has a wide variety of foods in its database, it allows you to keep a Food Log and then provides an analysis on your calorie intake as well as another 40 or so nutrients (kind of like what your looking for).

They also have an activity log which tracks your daily activities and then bounces it against your Food Log to give you a true daily calorie consumption value...

And its free, which meets your last requirement!!!

Good luck!
