Obesity is when people are overweight. What is it called when people are UNDERweight? The underweight people would be eating healthy too, just maybe w/ a high metabolism.

There are some people that can eat, and eat and they will always remain thin. There are others, that gain weight very easily.

I have a son that weight 128 lbs. He is 34, and is 5ft.10. He eats very healthy, but can eat as much pasta, potatoes, and anything thing that is in high calories, and he still stay's the same weight. I used to worry but then I found out that an uncle of mine who is also very healthy, and is 95 years old now always weighed 128 lbs. also throughout his life. Even when he was in his younger years. So I guess it is just thier nature, and the way they were born. I should be so lucky, I alwasy say I gain weight if I drink a glass of water of course as a joke.

underweight is still called as underweight...... as obesity is a health problem of eating more same is underweight of eating less... if it requires to cut 3500 cal per week to loose 2 ponds then similarly it requires 3500 cal more per week to gain weight... as far as high metabolism is concerned ...if u have high metabolism then u will never fall in underweight category....

Everyone has a perfect body weight, it doesn't always go by a weight chart. I would think if a doctor were to see that, they would check BMI and other things to determine whether or not the person was underweight or not.
