It's just a young pup! A young pup will bite anything that he can. Give him fake bones to bite. "Scold" him when he starts to bite u. OR take his hands and put it in his mouth so he know what 'biting' is all about. He's not insane. He's normal! Barking shows that he's scared cos he's in a new environment. Just pat him gently and speak softly to calm him down.

These answers are all correct.
Your dog is neither insane or weird. He's a puppy.
No one can type out a step-by-step guide on how to train a puppy from A to Z. Or, they could, but why? There are books for that sort of thing, and plenty of online resources. Time for you to do some research about getting a puppy -- after the fact, now.

Doesn't sound insane sounds like a normal happy puppy...sounds like you are use to an older trained relaxed dog. You may want to get a good training book on how to train and raise puppies. Or contact your local traiining club for puppy kindergarden classes.

Sounds familiar first you will either need to buy a training book, visit some websites try www.houssennet.nb.ca/dogworld.htm - great training tips
or visit your local petsmart their puppy classes are $100.00 for 8 sessions
A great investment if your dog is as insane as you say he is.
Good Luck

HAHA... what were you expecting?? Were you expecting him to be a lazy sleeping puppy?? Puppies are full of energy. They love to test their limits. Don't punish the pup severly, but become a bit strict with him. Play with him, and when he bites... yell OUCH! tap his nose and say no. You will have to do this a lot... but soon he will get a hang of things..

I think your dog needs attention. Be patient with him. He needs care and understanding. My neighbor once had a puppy who barked and howled for days because of its sudden separation from its mother. So maybe its scared and lonely for its mom.
