God will do things in His own way and on His own timetable, but we should be in a constant relationship with Him through prayer and studying the Bible. And if we're seeking to know His will, He will show it to us.

Marci, the saying "God helps those who help themselves" isn't from the Bible--it's from Ben Franklin.

There is a verse in the Quran in which God says he will not change peoples condition until they first try and change themselves.(not exact quote). So in my opinion...we need to cooperate as one race and change the way we live, think, act, and believe from selfishness(my race, religion, country etc) are better than yours....to selfless(my race, religion, country etc) are secondary to my humaness and start from there. Until then i think God is rather disgusted wih us. We started out a pretty good idea to him no doubt. I think we can motivate God(your words) by first motivating ourselves. If we all do a little...we can do alot. As the saying goes.

You know the saying God helps those who help themselves. Give it your best shot and God will help you along the way. So, IMO giving our best will motivate God to chip in.

The answer is not for God to chip in but for us to chip out....let go. We need to let Him take control willingly. God is a gentleman and will not force Himself on us but will ask for us to give ourselves to Him. We should align ourselves with Gods plans for us and not fit God into our plans...

It's because of the spiritually pure life you are living that makes Him want to intervene with your affairs, because although you told that government "something", they just aren't listening to you......poor prophet you, always saying things without God to back you up.......you actually sound like a false prophet, something which the Bible warned us all about.

lol, do something for God and maybe He will back you up when you sound like you have your foot in your mouth......
