My eggs come fresh every morning from my chickens. They have a very good life here. Our cows have a great life here too but eventually they will be on my dinner plate also.

My chickens run free around the garden, in a protected space of course, so that they don't get eaten by foxes and don't run on the street, but they have a divine life here, and I get rewarded for it with at least 3 eggs a day. I have 4 chickens, but some chickens don't always lay an egg each day.
And when I cook or boil them, the yolk looks rich orange and yellow, not grey like the ones you buy in the supermarket. And they taste really good, while those from the supermarket don't taste at all.

Of course I still want to eat eggs! Egg salad, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, etc.

If you eat meat or poultry you are contributing to this as well. Cows and pigs raised for food are treated equally as cruely. Its shocking what goes on in the meat industry. Chickens have their beaks cut off to avoid them pecking eachother under such stressful conditions-shocking!
