Don't know, must be the rich heritage cultural scene here, though I sure didn't inherit any great voice. But with all the Acadian, Celtic, Irish and First Nations genes floating around here in the Maritimes, we sure have one heck of a great bunch of singers! Check out the East Coast Music Awards sometime. And thanks for the compliment!

We've always had the same voices as equal to any other nation, or land. I suppose that the last few years we have been coming into our own in the music industry so it seems that we have extra good voices.
It is much like buying a new car, you buy a Malibu Chev then all of a sudden you notice Malibu's are all over the place. When in reality they've been all around you anyways.
Canadian singers have been around for a long time, and I suspect that you have just found a few that turn your crank, now all of a sudden it seems we are everywhere.
Thank-you for the compliment, and I do hope you investigate past musicians from Canada. We were just as good in the fifties and sixties as well.

LOL! Well, I don't know if there are more excellent voices in Canada than other places, but my hubby, a professional musician and singer himself, sure has one, and I am a sucker for a great voice!
So I will just agree with you, and say it's the clean fresh air and cold winters!

oh yea canada, they have tons of c-list celebs dying to make it in hollywood,....there are a few exceptions however, Pam anderson being the most notable, while tom green comes in a close second..keep on churning out the stars canada, in a few hundred years you could have your own hollywood
