Oppa means big brother, Korean girls call the friend whom are male and older then them.
the Korean guy will call hi older sister Nuna
it is also use in a friendly conversation between friends... Youger girl older guy.
the age difference can be a small as one year for the girl to call her OPPA

Oppa is what a female calls her older brother.
These days it is also used to refer to an older male friend or your boyfriend. I call my bf Yong oppa for instance.
