Don't they realize that there's absolutely no similarity between the way apples fall through air, and the way planets fall through space?
Obviously apples and planets are nothing alike. Trying to infer things about the whole universe based on fallible human astronomy and on tiny little objects falling is ridiculous!
Just because gravity occurs on a small scale doesn't mean it occurs on a large scale. God is needed for the big stuff!

Your being sarcastic, but you are actually correct, but not like you think.
Gravity does change the way it seems to work on the micro and macro scale. It's mystery as to exactly where the line is, and why it exists. But the difference is between the gravity between two apples and two planets, not between a planet and an apple, and a planet and planet like your examples.
Here's the example, If a moon sized body is as far away from an earth sized body as the moon is to the earth and moving at the same speed, they will be locked in orbit around a center point closer to the larger body proportional to its greater mass. If you then take an apple and a orange with proportionately the same mass as the earth to the moon and make them go at an appropriate speed near each other at a proportionately equal distance from each other as the bodies in our first example, they will not orbit each other.
We don't really know why.

Microgravitation is unproven. Just cause God bonked an apple off of Newtons Noggin is no proof that microgravity exists.
If gravity is so great how come they can't solve the three body problem! Answer me that Mr Wizard!

you're easily suited! no person has been waiting to persistently attempt the earth going around the sunlight in controlled lab circumstances. Believing in gravity with out authentic information is impossible with out faith interior the religion of Darwinism. Torg
