. reason for the muscle soreness after jogging, could be DOMS- also known as delayed onset muscle soreness. It happens about 12 hours of cessation of an activity & stays for about 24-48 hrs. The only solution in this is rest & light movement & stretching. 2. If the pain persists even after 48 hrs, is severe & also you have swelling, then you need to see a doctor who will examine internal injury. Jogging should be preceded with a proper warm up & stretching. It should never be done on concrete. Wear proper shoes meant for running and end your session with a cool down. You should take right guidance from a fitness expert.

That is because you have just started doing the exercises. Once you continue doing exercises for more than 3 months regularly without fail, you will not feel any soreness after exercise.

It really depends on what exercise you mean. If you have soreness after cardio, it may be because you just began exercising and your body is adjusting to it. If it's after muscle training, it's normal to have soreness because your muscles are ripping when you work them out, when they rip, they become stronger and that's how you build on them. Your body will get used to it after a couple of workouts, it's nothing to worry about!

when you do something like lift weights, what you are really doing is putting tiny little tares in your muscle...thats right, you are ripping up your muscle, but don't panic.

These little muscle rips heal up and make new muscle, its how you grow bigger muscles.

To keep the soreness away eat before you exercise, warm up with some cardio before exercise, drink water, and do a little cardio to finish the exercise session so nutrient filled blood can reach the muscles and start the healing process.

This only means that your muscles are reacting to the workout. Some expect consider it a good sign (effective workout) as long as its not too painful.
