I'm bipolar and I feel a lot better on medication. I do miss the high highs, but I mostly experience depression when I'm not medicated, so it's worth losing the temporary highs to be free of the lows. Then again, that's probably why I'm addicted to energy drinks. XD

well if you have bipolar then i hate to tell you this but that is not an natural high. That is why you are taking the medication, to control, that high, that makes you feel like you are on top of the world, or even god. And to stop you from hitting those lows that make you feel that you are the lowest thing on earth, and should not live. So if you are bipolar, take you medication as they tell you too, and if it is not working let them know, and let them know right away.

I miss the highs too (apparently people who care about us dont) the medication is to control but doesnt always prevent, its why we have blood tests & med reviews. A lot of us sabotage ourselves by self medication, stimulants & stress anything to induce the high we miss, remember the consequences its best to stick with the program.
