I'm a mother of a 13-year-old girl.A month ago she gave birth to a baby boy.Since the delivery(it was at home, not in the hospital) she hasn't stood up of the bed.In the end of the delivery she couldn't push the baby and it stood with half of the head outside and the other part inside her for 20 minutes..She is on diapers now and we feed her in bed.I thought she just needs rest after the delivery but is it normal to last already 5th week? She is slim and tall.

(***SIDE NOTE***SO I LOOKED AT YOUR PROFILE AND IN THE ONLY ANSWER YOU'VE GIVEN, A QUESTION ABOUT SPANKING, YOU STATED "I WANT MY DAUGHTER TO LEARN FROM PAIN")
FOR ONE THING, THIS CANNOT BE A SERIOUS QUESTION, BECAUSE ANYONE WITH ANY SENSE KNOWS THAT THIS IS NOT NORMAL. AND WHERE IS CHILD SERVICES? YOUR DAUGHTER HAS BEEN OUT OF SCHOOL FOR THIS WHOLE TIME? ARE YOU FROM AMERICA? BECAUSE IN AMERICA, WHEN SOMEONE HAS A BABY, WE USUALLY HAVE SOME KIND OF MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL HANGING AROUND DOWN THERE WHEN THE BABY COMES OUT--AND THEY DON'T LET THE BABY "STAND" WITH HALF THE HEAD IN AND THE OTHER HALF OUT BECAUSE THE BABY WOULD DIE!!! WHEN A BABY'S HEAD IS COMING OUT, HE/SHE STOPS BREATHING. THAT'S REASON # 1 THE OTHER IS THAT YOU SAID "THE END OF THE DELIVERY" AND BABIES ARE BORN HEAD FIRST UNLESS THEY'RE BREECH, AND IF YOU LET YOUR 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER DELIVER A BREECH BABY AT HOME YOU'RE A FUC*ING MORON. EITHER WAY YOU'RE A MORONIC FOOL BC IF THIS IS TRUE, YOU HAD TO ASK IF IT WAS NORMAL. THINK! (I KNOW IT'S HARD) OK, I'LL TELL YOU THE ANSWER:NO NO NO IT'S NOT FUC*ING NORMAL!! SO YOU HAVE 2 CHOICES---

1--GET OFF YOUR AS* AND TAKE YOUR KID TO THE FUC*ING EMERGENCY ROOM RIGHT FUC*ING NOW AND I HOPE THEY REPORT YOUR DUMB AS*

2--GET OFF THE FUC*ING COMPUTER BIT*H THIS SH*T AIN'T FUNNY.

Part of the problem is she was too young to have this child. Her body hadn't developed enough to be able to handle this. It is going to take her so much longer than an adult to try and recover. The hospital she went to sounds a bit odd in itself. Once the infants head has been delivered they can pull the baby out the rest of the way. It is just hard to believe they'd just let the baby's head dangle for 20 minutes. Personally I think you should keep posting about what she is going through so these other 12, 13, and 14 year old girls will learn a little about the chance they are taking. Take her to a good OB/GYN and do it quick, you don't need to chance losing your own child.

You really need to get her to the doctor soon, better yet, take her to the ER NOW!!! Something is not ok. Maybe her pelvic bone was injured or her urinary-tract, 13 is wayyyyyy young to deliver a baby, she should have given birth in hospital to begin with!
You also need to get the baby checked by a doctor to make sure, that the little guy's ok.

She might also suffer from post-partum-depression on top of this. It's a pretty traumatic experience to give birth at 13.

To be honest, none of this sounds good. Was she attended by a midwife for the birth or was it an unassisted homebirth? Has she seen a midwife or doctor since the birth?

Is she in bed because she is weak or is she possibly not getting up because she is depressed? Is she in pain?

Is she helping to care for the baby?

Is her lochia (postpartum bleeding) slowing or stopping yet? If she is still bleeding, is it heavy? Is there any odor?

You mentioned diapers - does she have bladder and bowel control?

She really needs to see a midwife or doctor ASAP. She should have been up and out of bed weeks ago if she was healthy.

Why would you let a 13 year old give birth in a house without medical attention? That is very dangerous. Take her to the hospital. Something is seriously wrong with her if she can't get out of bed. Maybe she ruptured something why giving birth.

your daughter is still a "baby"...were you in bed for a month after you gave birth? Take her to a doctor, quickly! She should not have been having a child at that age, but at the least should have been under doctors care when giving birth.
