Hi Guys,

i have a doubt. How can a guy go for a physical relationship with a girl not having like or love for her. What makes him do so?

Priya its simple....the culture difference ...we Asians (most of them) prefer ...LOVE then SEX... or MARRIAGE ,SEX then LOVE or MARRIAGE,LOVE and SEX.but for westerners they prefer irrespective of men and women first date(sex) again date(sex) with a new person (if he/she is not comfortable with the previous one)...and I wonder many a times by seeing their way of thinking about the relationship between these two sex...and in some cases they were staying together for years and one morning they simply say ..good bye...and start living with a new person...and by any chance we are or our society is not going to accept these..

Called male competition. The more notches on his gun the more macho he is on the real man scale. Men will go more for one night stands than an actual relationship because of fear of committment. They have a idiotic idea that someone better is just around the corner and must be free just in case, but must satisfy the male hormone God in the mean time. the girl wants a relationship and the guy doesnt. They dont seem to care whose feelings they hurt as long as they get what they want. Male peer pressure is relentless but to have a staedy girlfriend, especially at a young age is taboo and forbidden by some ancient male sex guru. This is very normal and can be seen every hour on Q&A with girls asking virtually the same question again and again with the same answer. It comes down to one thing its your life and do you play with the boys or wait for the real men. Good luck

Well, I'm not a guy. Too bad! But I've been in physical relationships where I had absolutely no like or love for the guy, but the sex was good enough. It's not just a guy thing. Sex is just a physical act unless you want to make it emotional or have been brain washed to believe that it is.

Like, love, and romance are all creations of a modern, emotionally connected society. The strongest survival mechanism we have is the drive to reproduce. Men and women both feel this drive. But social pressures encourage men to outwardly display this drive, and women to suppress it. Call it Judeo-Christian values if you want.

Take a look at Maslow's Hierarchy of needs. Notice sex is a basic physical need, but sexual intimacy is a higher need (therefore lower priority). Humans take care of their needs from the bottom to the top.

Historically, men are taught they're the providers, the one who should take care of the basic needs of their family. This becomes the basis for much of our lives.

You are confusing sex with love. One has nothing to do with the other. You don't have to be in love to have sex, if that were the case, there would be no prostitutes (male or female).

Sex is a physical urge. Love is an emotional state. They might enhance one another, but neither is necessary to the other.

Man has desire and that desire must be fullfilled. some men do that because a girlfriend or wife is not giving him as he would want and he must look outside just to ease the sexual pressure so in that case he can sleep around, Some men may have good sex with partners but their partners may not like certain sexual style and he knows that and outsider with agree to that because she wants to keep him, some men do it for kiss because their partners want sex no kiss, the list is endless, but then it is possible for men to behave that way.

His penis.

Seriously, guys are biologically designed with a desire to mate. Plus our culture puts value on a guy "getting lots of girls" but if a girl gets lots of guys she's a sl__ or a ho. Guys (especially younger men) are really mostly just about the sex. The girls doesnt have to be anyone special. She just has to be there. I'm not condoning it. I'm just saying that's how it is.

Some guys are just jerks, plain and simple. Many women make the mistake of believing we are all like this when it is their poor selection process in men that's really to blame.

Of course he can. I can't speak for all guys, but a lotta guys are dawgs. I f you allow it, he'll take advantage. We oftentimes go for the physical part first, but if there's more to it maybe he'll stick around.
