I mean if GOD had made only Adam and Eve in the begining and they in turn gave birth to their children. So does it meant that in some point, their children would have to marry each other to procreate? Would that be incest?

Yes. You are right. Incest did have to occur. GOD can still condemn it, as HE had his perfect reason for not creating two different groups of Adam & Eve's....think of how wrong that could have gone!~

Yes, incest was very popular in the bible. But there is another version that I recently read. In the NRSV bible, genesis states that God created many people before Adam and Eve.
Adam and Eve were just the beginning of the teachings of God. They were the first that God spoke to, apparently.

But don't quote me on this. I'm just an atheist who likes to read.

eve gave birth to a boy and a girl each time she was pregnant.
that brother and sister were not allowed to marry each other. instead brothers and sisters married one another only if they weren't from the same pair.
hope i explained it right!

Yes, unless the bible neglects to mention other people.

What does it matter? Finding plot holes in books just means you have more time and pay more attention than the person who wrote the book.
