i have an answer
well consider it like this
a complexity does not appear first
so the simplicity comes first
ie the seed came first , or the egg came first
all through mutation the simplest strands appeared and then set up or join together in a complex manner and formed the seed and egg.

If the egg came first, what kept the egg warm? The hen had to have come first. The seed came from the plant.

Just like the hen or egg question,I don't think any human being can give you the real answer. It's a good topic to think about , though.

Algae, the first plants, do not produce seeds. Thus, the plant came first.
Fish and insects, let alone amphibians and reptiles, have been producing eggs long before chickens existed. Thus, the egg came first.
