Unfortunately (I say this because I am in the same boat as you) there is nothing you can do to spot treat one area. Cardio burns fat and weight training can build muscle which helps you burn calories. Some people are just resistant in that area....and some turn to Liposuction. Which is a drastic measure...but then again most people say that it was well worth it. Try pumping up the protien and adding some weight training and crunches. It takes time and patience. There is a really great workout video you can buy called Power 90 you can google it or check it out on Ebay.Also the book Body for LIfe is supposed to be good. Both incorporate a healthy diet,cardio and stregnth training.Good luck and congrats on quitting smoking that is awesome...You are already on your way there.Blessings.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

sit-ups: to build the muscle underneath the fat
cardio: to burn the fat on top
if possible rowing(in the gym)
im doing all of the above and my stomach is slowly getting flatter. also look up foods which may bloat your stomach and stay away from them

The best exercise is walking,or try swimming,biking wont lose your tummy fat,it helps but not alot

I had that problem too and took a little remedy a mexican lady that had just had a baby told me. Take Aloe Vera and blend it with orange juice or any other drink. in the mornings on an empty stomach it worked for me.
