Getting married next year abroad, so we can't afford to travel abroad on holiday this summer (which is killing us)..

What is there to do in the UK...?

Was thinking of going back to Alton Towers Splash Landing hotel, and Centre Parcs...

but what else is there we could do.... trying to keep cost low, as well as having a decent break...

Fiance supports Liverpool, but not sure what up there is like...

any ideas would be great....
(no caravans!)

Weymouth in Dorset where I live is fab all year round. The beach is fantastic & there is always something going on & plenty of places to visit. Night life is great too. Just a little suggestion here, how about getting together with a couple of good friends & rent a holiday cottage, that way you could share the travelling costs by going in 1 car & the cost of accomodation have fun together but agree on time out by yourselves. I can get you infor on accomodation here with pleasure. Congrates on your forthcoming wedding

Why don't you go to the Lake District. Its absolutely beautiful and you can stay in cheap (ish) B&B's - lovely old houses overlooking the lakes.
