I surrender my Alien Card to my employer here in Japan before I go back to the Philippines because I quit the job, is there any chance that I can used my existing re-entry visa and visa permit stamp on my passport to enter in Japan?

Is it possible that my Visa is already cancelled and will detect to immigration once I go back here again using my Re-entry Visa, which is until January 8, 2008?

Highly appreciate your answer.

Ask the Japanese Embassy what is best for you. Otherwise, apply for another visa so that you can re-enter Japan.

Damn I'm in Japan right now and have a gaijin card. I'd say be careful, odds on if they've taken your gaijin card you won't be able to use the visa that they gave you when you had the job.

Yes you can. You have permission via your visa to re-enter. You just can't work without the alien card...
