Hey,
Your question not clear enough because a term paper on English will differ from one major to another. Also it depends on you, Where you find yourself more capable.

So for example GIS & GPS are good topics for geography. However, they won't be good for physics which might suite Nuclear radiation for example. You do what you find is good for you and you have enough resources about.

First, choose a topic that is pertinent to your coursework. Identify subject matter that was clearly emphasized by the instructor or that was important to the instructor personally. Teachers love it when their students show interest in areas that are important to them, or that they studied in college. It's also good to tie different aspects of the coursework together to consummate and validate all of the previous work in one statement.

I have done a few papers on cults...alot of work and study involved...trying to figure out the madness...Professors loved them..
