"Some see Mohammed's life itself offering his followers graphic examples of his intolerance toward dissent, slight, or rebuke. Well-known and repeated stories of fact or lore discourage any interest in voicing dissent.

"There is the story of the murder of the poetess Asma bint Marwan, who paid with her life when she spoke out against Mohammed for having a man named Abu Afak murdered. In his displeasure toward her, Muhammed asked his followers to murder her as well. She was killed by a sword thrust to her abdomen while suckling her baby..."

Does this sound to you like the founder of a religion of peace or a complete contempt for human life and moral values?

Would you say that Mohammed, like today's terrorists, is not a true Muslim because the Koran forbids murder?

Adia: I guess I should have said that this author (Brigitte) is Lebanese, grew up among Muslims, and claims that these stories are told by Muslims to Muslims.

The point of this question is to find 3rd party confirmation from a Muslim.

I think that's the only way I could give more credibility to the author. A single source really isn't enough.

Abdul: how much trouble was this mother and baby to a man like Mohammed with his own army and the majority of the Middle East under his command?

If I'm not mistaken, that was just one of the people that Mohammad had murdered.

If memory serves me right, Mohammad massacred the beni al Nadir tribe and even massacred 900 of his own relatives of the beni al Quraish !

I know that people like Adia will say that it was a time of War, but then, I'm afraid I find it very hard to justify.

Mohammad was hardly the kind of model that I would like to mould myself to, I'm sorry.

Perhaps one thing that all Muslims don't seem to be able to see is that Mohammad really wasn't "Prophet" material! And he did pay for all of that most tragically! He lost all his children in their infancy! He had 3 sons who never grew out of the crib! Even his daughter Fatima Zara bint Mohammad died after the miscarriage which was a result of the poor pregnant woman being crushed between the door and wall when a gang of people barged in to look for her husband Ali.

Quite literally, Allah wiped out the lineage of Mohammad!

Doesn't that tell us all something?

To me, it does.

Pax vobiscum, pax dominic.

No, you're no longer married to him. He PRAYED which you may marry him, vast difference. Its incredibly at contemporary forward, Muslims, like all different 2 Abrahamic religions have very strict concepts approximately marriage and intercourse. He appears like he's amazingly religious in this regards. Muslims do no longer evaluate themselves married while they only pray to be married...they have regulations on the subject of marriage and those regulations many times think approximately state regulation besides. you may could desire to get legally married. All that being stated.... i might recommend that the subsequent time you meet, if there's a next time, i might ask him some very pointed questions on the subject of what he believes approximately marriage, etc. so which you get his perspective on the undertaking.

Any one can say anything about prophet Mohammad PBUH how do you know its true , of course its not true, and why would you like to prove something like that why do you hate Muslims that much ? why can't you just leave us alone and stop spreading roamers about our religion. the only people I did know open the stomach of a pregnant woman, was a people from Israel and they did it with cold hands and laughed about it as well.

next time you want to know something about Mohammad PBUH you read the Quran you don't go ask dump people.

DEEP SKY and why Mohammad is so because you say so?

end it now you people just like to spread hatred among people you need to seek help, you have big problem , if we Muslims know nothing about our religion then do you think you know ? what is that you don't even make sense , you act like a school boy? how old are you ? I will not give you more than 4years.

Hello Mahal.

As you know, we Muslims had many enemies since 1400 years ago, and a lot may fabricate stories againts us.

We believe that the Qu'ran is word from God, the Qu'ran advocates peace and tolerance and is totally againts violence of any form, except for self-defence.

Anyways, those stories are totally againts the teachings of Muhammad himself, so how can that be right?

Men's word and God's word, that's the difference.

Shall I quote all the peace verses from the Qu'ran, my friend?

Consider this, Mahal, if you had enemies, how likely are your enemies going to tell lies about you?

Here's more reason why that won't work: The Qu'ran came from God through Muhammad, so it's his teachings. If he goes againts his own words, who would follow him? Still, there are 1.5 billion muslims in this world.

Well Mahal, even though it came from a Muslim, doesn't mean it have to be true. Check my sources.

Read for yourself the Quran
It is very different from the Bible and even from the Torah
Funny when you really think about it...seeing how even the Muslims say that God "Allah" is never wrong then pray tell me why did God need to write another book "Quran" to correct the supposed mistakes in the Bible and the Torah?

Nope Mahal this is not true......You would find many of such sotries around but the authenticity of such sotries is always doubtful..........

Still there are stories about Muhammad(pbuh)'s mercy.....Muhammad used to feed a jew daily who was blind and he hated Muhammad for bringing islam ....and he had no attendant with him to take care of ....Muhammad(pbuh) used to go to his home daily and feed him while he always kept abusing Muhmmad ....Muhammad never told him that this is actualy him who is feeding ...and used to listen all that quietly ! and when Muhammad was ill, he told Abu Bakr, his companion, to perform that duty after his death.....and when Muhammad died, Abu Baker went to that house and started feeding him quitely ...but he at once recognised him that he is not the same person, he asked Abu Baker who are you? because the person who comes daily softens food first and then give me.......and you are giving me raw.....At that moment Abu Baker told him that He was Muhmmad(pbuh) and he is dead......

Well If Muhammad(pbuh) were so cruel he would have killed that jew first who used to abuse him daily ....and also there was lady who hated Muhmmad(pbuh) and used to throw l the garbage on him daily , and once when she missed this Muhammad went to her home to ask , is she fine?

i can tell you hundreds of such stories of Muhmmad mercy !

Yes there are some Ex.muslims who could not understand islam and showing it that way to the world....and that is a hopeless situation.....i think this Brigitte is also someone of Suleman Rushdi type...... but never mind !!
