i got my PC reinstalled by a fresh OS. i found out that my audio sound do not work now. also in the add hardware wizard, there are yellow iconed hardwares that needs to be reinstalled, that is the VGA and PCI..how will i reinstall them, or lets say where can i find there location in my PC? and also my software programs, i found out, wouldnt work now in my new OS. how will i reinstall them w/o using any CD-Rom and just the folders in the program files are to be used in reinstalling them????

If both OS are Windows no problem.

Start/Control Panel/Add New Hardware.
Check what drivers Windows need .
If it cannot find the drivers automatically , it will ask you to specify a location or insert the CD.
Usually they can be in the folders. to help you

Down load this program and identify all your hardware. Save the list. Now go to the company's website and download the latest drivers.

No, you won't be able to do exactly a backup...do you no longer have the medias (CDs) which includes the applying? Or did you get them preinstalled while to procure the computing device? you would be able to desire to deploy them yet back! Its no longer adequate merely reproduction the records over or take a backup of them!!!
