Suffering From CHORDOMA?

I'm suspected to have a disease called Chordoma. Its a rare tumor. I'm just 20 this year. Do anyone here in Singapore have this disease so we can share? I'm scared cause i read some articles where its hard to cure unless you try using the proton beam. I ask myself why this illness choose me but i realise this is what god gives me. Please share with me..... :(

Chordoma is a rare slow-growing malignant neoplasm thought to arise from notochordal cell (a cylindrical cord of cells on the dorsal side of an embryo, marking its longitudinal axis) remnants. In the United States, the incidence of chordoma is approximately 1 in one million per year. The average 10 year tumor free survival rate is less than 50%. Aggressive surgical resection followed by radiation therapy offers the best chance of long-term control. There are no drugs currently approved to treat chordoma, however chordoma has been shown to have a limited response to the Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) inhibitor Imatinib.

You need to be very careful what you read online about chordoma as a lot of information is out of date or just plain wrong.

Have you tried Traditional Chinese Medicine? There are many chinese physicians in Singapore. Perhaps you can try alternative medicine.

Visit those that are famous. Some Chinese physicians in Singapore are useless. I can email you 1-2 such good doctors if you want to try.
