Everyone always says brainwashing when it comes to the military training, be it boot camp, basic or whatever the navy and air force call it.
They say it changes a person.
Before I went I had everyone worried and some even cried that I was going to change.
Now, were not talking about how a deployment changes a erpson, this person is asking about how Basic training changes people.
It makes people more alert, more respectful, more organized, more physically fit, and more discplined.
It gives them a feeling of accomplishment and most a feeling of honour and patriotism - if they belief in the values and the country they are efforting to defend from all enemies.
But if youre a pr*ck goign in who just wants to learn how to kill, then thats exactly what youre going to walk out being, just moreso because now you think youre a military trained pr*ck.
Those are few and far between once they get to their unit.
Basic training is nothing really.
Dealing with killing another person, or worrying if youll make it through another night, if a mortar rounds going to land on top of you, or if youre going to be the unlucky bas*ard to roll over an IED...well thats a completely different story.
But no worries about basic.
Too easy!!!
This from infantry airbone training
and I doubt navy training would be something to worry about in the least

If you want brainwashing go to a Move-On/ANSWER/ACT/Code Pink rally. Better yet, go and take an objective look at most college professors. But why stop there, the true brainwashing permiates our society.
The military is the one place where I have never seen brainwashing. My college courses, high school classes, and watching most "news" shows are nothing but brainwashing.
"Useful Idiots" doesn't even begin to describe the left....

what did you expect? this is America. Brainwashing is compulsory to the government in order for you to do the reprehensible duties that they dictate. Why would anyone sign up to be a government slave?
