If I took the skin off, would I be left with nice lean meat or not?

It is true, it is injected with butter, no escaping all the added...buy a plain turkey breast instead...terrible, isn't it, all that hidden fat they sneak in....

I once skinned a butterball turkey, only to find the holes where all the butter is. So skinning it, is not going to help all that much, you may want to go with a non-injected turkey.

Partly. Butterballs are injected with oil and or butter, so a lot of the fat comes from that too.

yes, if you take off the skin, it'll go from 30% to at least 7%.

if you want the breakdown on where the calories are coming from...fat/carbs/protein etc... on any food..go to calorieking.com :)
