Where do you go to get a quote for that?

The minimum type of coverage you can get is called liability. It will include different coverages depending on what your state requires. If you have liability coverage it will only pay for the damage you do to someone elses property. There is no coverage for the damage to your car. If you have a loan on the vehicle, the bank will require you to have full coverage.

Call any agency and they will be able to give you a quote. Make sure that you have the vehicle identification number for the vehicle when you call. It will help to get an accurate quote..

If you have a lien on your car, you must carry full coverage. If there is no lien, then you can get by with just liability. But some states require you carry uninsured motorist as well.

Try your local insurance company of choice. You will have to shop for it to find the better deal. But don't settle with some fly by night company. Read the policy being offered, Understand the policy before signing onto it.
