Yes, I think it is possible.

One of my friends sister had a malignant brain tumor, she had an operation and she did get well. She was good for about 10 or so years where she was doing alright. However her tumor did return after about 11 years, she didn't want to have another surgery and go through it again.

I felt bad for my friend because she did die. It was hard on their family, as they couldn't understand why she didn't' want to have the second surgery.

I think she would have been fine if she had the second surgery.

But I do think that it's possible for some one to live for 20 or more years after some thing such as this. I think if the person keeps a good attitude, I think that they would be just fine,

yes if the tumor has been completely removed and it has not metasized to any other organ then one will live the full life without any symptoms / problems. In the present days this is very likely because the wide range of chemotherapy medicines are very effective and are prolonging the symptom free life to the full life span.
