This is a great pickup move for seniors, i'll have to remember this some day. I suggest:
"Well look at that, I guess they wan't my mouth to follow"
although saying that without teeth could be a little difficult so it might take some practice. So cheap and sleazy it just might work.

Well, to get out of any embarrasing moment just make fun of the situation and laugh so you will melt the ice between both of you. Then gently pick them up and put them back in their place. I assure you everything will be fine.
