Every verse that is quoted can be examined and put down to show that no where in the Bible does it say that being gay is a sin or gay love is a sin.Any bible quote that uses the word "homosexual" is invalid since that word was coined in the 1800's and so was added by bigots.Other quotes have meanings about lustful ways and so they are not about gay love and one quote in Leviticus mentions men laying with men as with women and it could be interpreted many different ways and keep in mind it is in the same place that says it is ok to sell your daughter or kill your neighbor for not observing the Sabbath or that eating shellfish is an abomination.Sin?Depends on whether or not you are part of a church that endorses sexual repression. Now, keep in mind that pedophilia is not the same thing as being gay.Just in case that is what you meant. And I do think that pedophilia is mentioned in the Bible and even if it isn't that would go back to lust anyway.

There's a difference between orientation and action. I know a few gays and lesbians who are celibate and who have an incredible love for the Lord. The issue is whether they choose to serve their own desires or serve the Lord. And if a person is celibate and is focusing on the Lord, how would their sexual orientation be an issue or even become known unless they told somebody?

Here's what someone posted in another forum that makes perfect sense from a Biblical perspective, IMO:

Does anyone else here find the same conclusion as I do from what Scripture says or doesn't say, namely that since homosexual BEHAVIOR is a sin, that homosexuality is God's way of telling a person that He intends for them to be celibate and to commit themselves to Him and not to any other human? I don't believe it can be deduced from Scripture that it's God's intention for everyone to be married--quite to the contrary, in fact, from what we see in 1 Corinthians 7:32-35. But celibacy is such a taboo and the notion of personal "rights" has become so enmeshed in our way of thinking that the issue of self-control and putting God's will before our own seem to have drowned out this consideration in the public arena.

oh....gosh, i remember a lot of verses condeming hetero-sex in many ways....but like 2 verses about homo-sex....I dunno? My #'s might be a little off, but really...and if anyone tells you that it is a sin, tell them to worry about themselves and that all sins are equal in the eyes of the lord...so everytime they tell a little white lie is it the same as you being gay...so you are equals, and tell them to save the judgment for god (or goddess), because if they judge, that is one more sin...oh gosh...it could just go on and on, but I'll stop

It is not a sin, because there is no such thing as sin. Sin is conventionally defined as violating some law of god, but since it is impossible to demonstrate the existence of god, let alone what such laws might be, the concept of sin is void.

Yes it is.

as all the holy books says (Quran, bible & Torah), cause it's against the human's nature as Allah create them couples (man & woman).
