generally, it's a bad idea to give your dog "people food". not only are some ingredients bad for your dog, but your dog may also begin to beg for food while you are eating. raw veggies are ok though, just again try not to feed your dog while you are eating. my dog loves carrots.

I heard that if you give a dog any kind of sea food or cat food it's fur would fall off. I'm pretty sure sea food is definitely not good for a dog. Ice cream or sweets will give them worms. Maybe you should just try to find the best dog food for your pet. I think your pet would be most happy.

A dog should not have fatty table scraps, junk food or sweets. Meat drippings are OK as long as it's not heavily salted or seasoned. Chicken bones and chocolate are absolutely dangerous, the dog could die. Basically, anything that is bad for us is bad for a dog, and you don't want to be cleaning up doggie puke in the middle of the night.

You cant feed a dog chocolate, onion or paracetamol. It's OK to give cat food to a dog, but not dog food to a cat.

chocolate is like poison to them,

Good foods........ meat, veggies, fruits. raw fresh diet is great. bad for dogs .......... Grapes and Raisins: Grapes and raisins can cause kidney failure in dogs. As little as a single serving of raisins can kill a dog
Onions: Onions destroy red blood cells and can cause anemia.
Chocolate: Chocolate can cause seizures, coma and death. Baker’s chocolate is the most dangerous. A dog can consume milk chocolate and appear to be fine because it is not as concentrated, but it is still dangerous.
Coffee, Coffee grounds, tea and tea bags: Drinks/foods containing caffeine cause many of the same symptoms chocolate causes
Macadamia Nuts: Macadamia nuts can cause weakness, muscle tremor and paralysis.
Animal fat and fried foods: Excessive fat can cause pancreatitis. Avocados: The fruit, pit and plant are all toxic. They can cause difficulty breathing and fluid accumulation in the chest, abdomen and heart

If it's not DOG FOOD then don't give it to them!

What might not kill one dog could kill another. By feeding dogs food that is not intended for their consumption you're risking many things. You're risking good behavior that could result in the dog begging, whining, drooling (abnormally), hoarding, kidney failure, heart failure, liver failure, and the ultimate... death. That is naming just a few possible side effects.

It's called dog food for a reason and only properly formulated dog food should be given.

Chocolate, a piece or two probably wont hurt them (I have had dogs eat chocolate and they were fine), but too much can kill them.
