Hi,
let us consider two insulated containers which are connected
through a pipe which has a stop cock. let us fill the
containers with a gas and put the stop cock.
there is no exchange of gases. now let us remove the stopcock so that the two gases mix. let us analyze this process:
1. the system(consisting of the two containers )is
isolated.okay
2. Since there is no temperature change delta T =0
so, delta U =0. thus the given situation portrays the same
situation specified by the question.
now, since in this case after the removal of the stop cock
gases mix and there is more space for the gas molecules to move disorder increases in the system.
hence change in entropy > 0 hope i was of some help

the greater the temperature difference between internal and external then the faster the temperature transfer (materials differ)
