how would I ask him to prom?

well, there is this guy and he is just adorable. He loves his drum set and music in general, and i want to ask him to prom, how the heck would I do that without being boring and not cheesy. thanks

try to be open with him or ask him indirectly, try to make jokes, then if he really likes you he should put aside his drum and everything and accept
