I hate people asking such question time and time again to being the morons out of the woodwork. Or is that the sort of answer i shouldn't say, and thus get thumbs down for - so what. Went to Spain last year and thought I was in Blackpool with English who lived there not bothering to speak a word of Spanish. When people deliver their verdicts, it would be interesting to learn why BRITISH are not too keen on working, and doing jobs they think are 'beneath them'. Maybe we 'hate foreigners' because we're envious of their determination.

Hi there
There's nothing wrong with people coming into the UK to look for work its our governments policies that are a complete sham! We should have a points system like the US and Australia where you need to have a degree and a job to go to before you arrive. They whole equal rights thing here is a farce and our benefits system is a complete joke. You only have to look at how our Police Forces are recruiting to get the general idea. Don't get dragged into the issues about someone has to fill the job gap. The reason why there is a shortage for unskilled workers is the poor pay and conditions they receive. Just check out your local hand car wash and see who is working there! Is it right for people to seek asylum in a developed country only to be given poor pay and working conditions? Of course not! Again the government allows crappy employers to take advantage of vulnerable people.
We have created this mess ourselves. You cant blame people for taking advantage of a weak and inadequate system.
regards
idai

The bodies of 4 of our soldiers flew home from Afghanistan yesterday. One of them was a South African immigrant.
Our army is 30% understaffed and none of the 2.5 million unemployed will join up, this leaves the immigrants to protect you whilst you sit at your computer and draw benefits.
Please don't tell me that the war is unjust because this is not Iraq, it is Afghanistan and that came after 9/11.
Anyway it was his job to go anywhere he could to make British people safe.
Most of you are too young and uninformed to know that the Polish did a lot for Britain in the last war.
If it were not for immigrants they may need national service,so that the defence force can operate.
Maybe this is not a bad thing as it would take down unemployment and teach our youth to respect others.

There also not even liable for money, They get a £25 food voucher to spend at Aldi. So when people start talking about immergrants , they should get there facts straight before they awnser

No i don't hate them if the want to come here to work, but a lot of them just come here to take advantage of our benefit system, why should they be entitled to free health care, schooling and housing, you wont get the same treatment in their countries It would be interesting if they could stop all these benefits to foreigners and then see just how bad our health system is in, but i know that will never happen, instead the government will just blame us, and we must change our life style, like stop driving our car, stop flying, in fact just work and pay your taxes and stop complaining

I don't hate foreigners who come to work here, because at least they are working. What I do dislike is foreigners who come over specifically to be housed and loaded with benefits, and DON'T work. Whilst everyone else born and breed in their country have to suffer long hours of work to just about afford a box room in a house, along with just about managing to pay all the bills, and support your family. That THAT makes me angry.

No, there are lots of immigrants in my country (Brazil). In the city where my family lives, Sao Paulo, has the highest rates of Japanese immigrants in the world, than comes the Italians and Arabs. My grandparents were Italians and the population and society there (in Sao Paulo), do not feel fretted by them or immigrants. We have a high number of Arabs and Lebanese too, but all, Italians, Japanese, Arabs and us (Brazilians), get alone very well. The rates of discrimination in the country is one of the lowest in the world. My people enjoys the idea of difference, it give us the idea of modernization and opportunity of knowing something new.
This feeling of welcome people is more cultural because our population is formed by different races and nationalities. The main population of the south of the country is composed by Italians and Germans, while in the North, is basically Africans, the east, still has the native Americans and the west is very mixed because is where the economy is the strongest in the country. The most richest city in Brazil are those with higher numbers of immigrants. Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are the most richest because of the high level of immigrants. I guess is the same here in NYC. Immigrants brings wealth to the country, see if NY or SP wants to empty its cities and live only by americans or brazilians work ? I am 100% they don't want to do that, because they know, more than any city in US or in Brazil (SP) how profiteable their work are. Take a close look to Bloombergs opinion. He is a business men and now a politician who learn in the social and in the economic fields that benefits of immigrant's work.

You've got just as much right to go to their country and get a job if you wanted to. If our country (UK) wasn't so overcrowded already no one would notice the migrant workers and it wouldn't be such a problem.
I've got no problem with foreigners coming here to work as long as they contribute something. I do get really hacked off with all the East European drunk drivers we get in my area. They are a menace and should be deported as soon as possible.
There are also a great number of bone idle, layabout UK citizens scrounging dole, saying they're unable to find work. How come the foreigners seem to manage it?

No, Scotland's population is in decline & we need foreign people to come here to boost the population.
As long as people are skilled, want to work hard & just don't want to leach of our Social Security system I can't see a problem with it.
You might get a different response from people in England to this quesiton though, they are a bit more racist there & think Polish people are taking all of their jobs.
