my cousin hated america so he left guess what he likes it out there but respects us who like it here. isn't it like saying you hate BK and eat there every day

This happens here because we live in the greatest country the world has ever seen. It is so great that we have become complacent - because we are safer than most nations, because even our poor eat better than most nations, because even our imprisoned live better than most nations. If the "wrong" political party gets power, NOBODY is going to get dragged out of their home and executed. We are so complacent that few people vote, and fewer still try to find out what they're voting about.
It has happened here because America has been great. It could also be our downfall.

The US is the dominant force on the world stage and so much blame can be layed at her feet for all the ills of the planet.
Twas the same for the British when they ruled the globe and before them the Romans and when the US declines people will hate China even more than they do now. Its the price of having a successful society.

People complain because they are not satisfied with the government. They like the benefits of the constitution but do not approve of the leader of the executive branch. They are not alone in feeling this way. It is important to always remember that the power lies with the people.

Depends. If you hate it and everything it stands for then you should probably leave. If you complain to bring about change then there is nothing more American. It is our country and if we are not happy with the way it is being run, then we have a right to have our grievances heard. It's in the U.S. Constitution, dude.

Maybe because they are minors. Maybe because it's a whole long process of getting VISAs and planes and learning a new language. Maybe because they would just move back again after Bush stopped being president. There are a lot of reasons. Quit being so ignorant and think about this logically.

This messages hasn't sunken in with the right wing. But it is not american so much as the foreign policies of supporting Israel which is responsible for the ethnic cleansing of a population. The real haters of america are the ones that send american soldiers in harms way and do nothing for them when they return.

Siblings complain about each other all the time but love each other just the same. Same with husbands & wives.
Some people love their homeland so much that they wish it were perfect. It bothers them when something is not perfect and saying something about it helps them to let off steam (so they don't blow-up and leave).

I would better fit in in a good portion of the European countries, but I can't leave because of obligations and a lack of money. When I can leave, I will; but I'm sure I'll miss home.

don't forget decent is one of the pillars of our govt. no it's like eating at BK and wanting the cholesterol accounted for so you can eat healthy and BK doesn't have founding fathers !

This Is America. it's a free country. people can say what they want.
I HATE when people say you don't like It leave. my Family had many members fight in wars so I and everyone else may say what they want. sorry but that's America. and I Love thaqt I can say what i want.
