East India has a population of over one billion people concentrated on a peninsula that is less than one third the land mass of the country of Canada that holds a population of only thirty million.
I live in Canada. I use my country as a comparison because I live here.
The amount of people to the amount of land available is probably the most difficult problem the nation of India is faced with.
The second problem as I see it, is that life is the cheapest commodity in India.
The third largest problem is pollution.
After that it is social, like the caste system that is in the blood of the land. I know the government has outlawed the system but you cannot legislate ethics and morality. It is still a major barrier to the productivity of India.
Religion is another problem the nation faces. Ten thousand Deities are registered to the government census in the late twentieth century. With those many mini gods you can be sure that conflicting ethics and ethnicity will abound.

Govt and leaders are most corrupt and selfish i.e. the major problem behind all problems. and people should be educated in such a way that they should build the capacity to judge what is right and what is wrong. people are not so respnsible to that extent even our leaders are not. Political problem is the basic problem in india. until it is not solved all problems will be there for ever.

Growth of Disparity.
The ones with resources must look to help and assist the deprived so the majority is not left behind.
This is the only Indian way else individuals gain and country looses.
