10 being the MOST depressed and 1 NOT at all. And why?

I've been hovering around 7 to 9 for the last 6 months but getting better because I always say that life is short and make the best of it because we won't have to be depressed forever.

Right now I'm a 1.
I currently live in the Netherlands (I'm an American) and the weather here is completely different than what I'm used to. I'm used to rain no more than twice a month and here it rains constantly. But the last few days have been getting up to 60 degrees and the sun has been shining... basically beautiful weather. It's looooooooong overdue!!!!!
This is such a wonderful country, but the rain can often times shadow the great aspects of it all. The nice weather allows you to see all of the beauty of this country. Gorgeous, just gorgeous. If you ever get a chance to visit Holland, do it in the late spring, early summer; definitely the best time weather wise!

any sort of depression can be tide over by faith in GOD and sincere prayer.
Your prayer is from your heart. Further You must have to understood the fact that God is present in our heart. This can be realised in meditation. Further we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.
Hence there is always a possible way to complete mergence with God in this life by a simple and wonderful meditation

On good days, an 8, on bad days a 10+. I have chronic depression, social phobia and generalized anxiety. That's enough to make anybody feel like dog vomit.

11 im on anti depressants and im alone and i miss my family
they abondon me some now im in a foster home with 2 abusive parents and i really hate life i have no way to die because theyve hidden every thing from me i havent slept in a week and a half because everynight my "dad" comes home drunk and beats me and my mother i have bruises everywhere and i try to sleep but my pillows always to wet form my tears i cut my wrists just to feel again and truthfully i dont think ill ever be happy again

i would have to say myself alot of the time i am a 8 to 10 just simply because i have serious anxiety issues and probably depression issues but i have no insurance so it gets put on the back burner

10 because I have a college degree & no job, & I have a family who doesn't love me. Also, my brother & his girlfriend kept throwing the Hurricane Katrina experience in my face & making me feel like it was my fault. Also, my brother's girlfriend is so jealous of him talking to any other female that she falsely accused me of sexually wanting my own brother. Eww! I have my OWN boyfriend of 6 months, & I wouldn't trade him for anyone in the world.

Well i like it around 5, cause that keeps it on an even level. you see i believe the things that i go through, be them bad or good, are meant to be, and i learn from them, and so i really do not let them stress me out, if i did, then i would be totally crazy, which i am not , at least not at this moment.

I'm doing pretty good today. I would say at worst today I was a 2. Staying in all day will do it every time for me.
